Cowboys DT Josh Brent jailed after testing positive for marijuana

Category: News | Posted on Fri, June, 28th 2013 by THCFinder
nfl-player-arrestedDallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent is in Dallas County jail after testing positive for marijuana last week, violating the terms of his $100,000 bond, Selwyn Crawford of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Brent has been out on bail while awaiting trial on an intoxicated manslaughter charge following a Dec. 8, 2012 incident that claimed the life of Jerry Brown, a linebacker on the Cowboys' practice squad and Brent's former teammate at the University of Illinois. Brent's blood-alcohol level was 0.18, over twice the legal limit, when his Mercedes S600 struck a curb, overturned and caught fire.

A urinalysis test in May revealed that Brent had "tested positive for marijuana and marijuana metabolite". On May 24, Dallas County prosecutors sought to revoke Brent's bond, accusing him of either drinking alcohol or being around alcohol, both of which would be violations of his bail. The SCRAM bracelet on Brent's ankle had also failed to log data on 22 occasions.

During a bond revocation hearing on June 6, State District Judge Robert D. Burns III declined the prosecutor's request, but did order further alcohol monitoring of Brent while scheduling an additional hearing for July 19.

Making a Gravity Bong

Category: Fun | Posted on Fri, June, 28th 2013 by THCFinder

GRAV-BONG-1

Whether you’ve run out of rolling materials and there’s no bong insight, or you just want to try a new way to get high, a gravity bong is your answer.

The way they’re designed you can really get some monster size hits from the gravity leaving you very high on only a little amount of weed. This bong gets its name from the force of gravity and the water pushing the THC smoke into your mouth. So get comfortable and ready to inhale as we school you on How to Make a Gravity Bong.

A two liter bottle is the best foundation for you to start this process. Then you’re going to need a larger body of water to dip the 2 liter bottle in. For this you can use a sink, the bathtub, or a bucket, anything that’s going to be larger than the 2 liter.

GRAV-BONG-2

Next you want to cut about 1/3 off of the bottom of your bottle, a little less than halfway.

The lid of your 2 liter plays a very important role in making sure that it functions properly. Poke a hole in the cap and make it wide enough to place foil on the inside. This will be your bowl for putting in the dankness. Now with a tooth pick or something skinny poke 2-3 holes in the foil bowl, (the smoke will pour into the bottle through these holes)

GRAV-BONG-3

Place the 2 liter inside the bucket or what have you, but make sure the bottle is already in the water before you put the weed in the bowl otherwise it’ll fly up and probably land in the water.

The next step is the one that’s going to get you higher than you’ve been all freakin’ day.

GRAV-BONG-4

Once the bud is in the foil bowl and the bottle is in the water, begin to light the herb as you would any ordinary bowl but slowly be lifting up on the 2 liter as well. This draws all the delicious smoke into the open space of the bottle for you to inhale.

GRAV-BONG-5

Once the bottle is milked to you liking, simply remove the cap and inhale long and deep.

There you have it stoners, a simple do-it-yourself bong that really gets you higher than you thought you would be off that little nug love. Get creative friends, and then get even higher than that.

mi-dispensaries-raided

SPRINGFIELD — Police with search warrants raided three medical marijuana dispensaries in Springfield Wednesday, alleging they were violating Michigan law.

About 10:45 a.m. Michigan State Police troopers and undercover drug officers drove into the parking lot of The Karmacy at 4549 W. Dickman Road. At the same time officers went to the Southwest Compassion Care Center at 700 N. 20th St., and Happy Daze at 695 N. 20th St., both in Springfield.

Officers left the two centers on 20th Street by mid-afternoon but were still at The Karmacy late in the day.

Officers also went to a home in Kalamazoo County and one in Barry County where owners or managers of The Karmacy lived, according to Detective Lt. Wayne Edington of the Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team, an undercover drug unit. He said troopers along with undercover officers from units in Jackson and Allegan and from the department’s computer crimes unit assisted in the raids.

Officers had a sixth search warrant for the offices of the City of Springfield and Edington said they were seeking documents about the licenses and financial records issued and kept by the city for all three businesses.

City Manager Frank Peterson said the city complied with the search warrant and turned over copies of the records.

Edington said the raids were part of an investigation begun late in 2012 because “all three were operating outside the scope of the medical marijuana law.” He said search warrants were obtained through the Calhoun County Prosecutor, David Gilbert.
