Why Vaporizing Medical Cannabis Is Getting Popular

Category: Medical Marijuana | Posted on Mon, November, 4th 2013 by THCFinder
more-people-are-vapingMany people using medical cannabis, for obvious reasons, are very worried about their health. For some people, smoking is just out of the question. Even though cannabis isn’t associated with the cancer risk that smoking tobacco is associated with, smoking still does have effects on the lungs that may be undesirable for some people. Particularly if the patient is an avid runner or engages in some other vigorous fitness routine, smoking may diminish their performance and make them feel like medical cannabis might not be accessible.
The first option here is usually to get marijuana that is baked into food. This completely eliminates the need to draw anything into your lungs. The other option is to try vaporizing. There are good reasons why many people are turning to vaporizers as a way to use medical cannabis.
Versus Smoking
In order to smoke anything, you have to combust it. According to some information, a burning joint can reach over 2000°F. There is also research to show that most of the smoke that is produced when you combust marijuana does not actually contain the cannabinoids you want, but contains a great many more other components.
For some people, this makes smoking far less than ideal. Vaporization has qualities that make it more attractive.
Some information holds that vaporizing marijuana produces a vapor that is more than 95% free of smoke. The vaporization takes place at a much lower temperature than combustion. At approximately 340°F, the cannabinoids in cannabis start to vaporize.
With cannabinoids in excess of 90%, vapor can be very effective at delivering the desired effect from medical cannabis. For many people, vaporization is simply a more modern, more effective and more desirable way to use medical cannabis.
The drawbacks to vaporizing principally have to do with cost. Vaporizers cost a great deal more than a simple bowl or bong and, because of that, some patients may not be able to afford the equipment used to vaporize.
Additionally, it is very difficult to tell based on sales information whether a vaporizer is actually good. The best way to make certain that any vaporizer you’re considering purchasing is worth the money is to talk to people at a dispensary. In some cases, they may even be able to recommend some brands that they know work very well. Because of the cost involved, you don’t want to waste your money on a substandard vaporizer that comes at a low price precisely because it doesn’t measure up to standards.
Vaporizing medical cannabis is one of the most popular ways to use it. For some people, it’s much better than smoking because of the reduced smell, because it’s easier on the lungs and, according to some people, because the effects that they experience are more intense.

Medicated Blueberry Biscuits

Category: Recipes | Posted on Mon, November, 4th 2013 by THCFinder
Want to keep your cabinets stocker with medicated treats for those days before work where you don't have time to smoke? This blueberry muffin recipe would go great with the vanilla coffee recipe that was recently posted on the site. Put these two together in the morning and you'll be sure to have a wonderfully elevated day.
What You'll Need;
2 - 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 - 1 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cannabutter
3 tablespoons of milk/water mix
The first step is to preheat the oven to 345 degrees. After you've done that, add the flour and sugar in to a bowl and mix them together well. Then, add your cannabis butter to the mix. Don't melt the butter prior to adding it. If the butter is rock hard, you can let it sit to soften up a bit but you have to keep it in a solid form. Now, beat the butter in to the flour and sugar mix until most of the chunks have disappeared. Then add your blueberries!
Next, add the milk. Mix the milk in well until the substance has turned in to a dough. Make sure that it's not too soupy. You can add more flour if necessary or more milk if it's too thick. But it should be more like dough, not like muffin mix. Lay out some flour on a flat surface and begin to knead the dough.
When the dough has been thoroughly kneaded, get a cookie sheet and grease it well. You don't want the dough to stick to the pan when you're trying to eat it. Take pieces off of the dough and mold them in to small round shapes, 1/2" thick and 2" wide. You must remember to watch them carefully while they cook, as they might end up getting too big. Cook them for 10-20 minutes but keep a close eye on them.
The biscuit muffins shouldn't be brown on the top. To see if they've finished cooking, lift one up with a knife and inspect the bottom. If the dough has a golden color, then they're done.
In order to make the awesome glaze for these treats, keep reading! If you prefer them just the way they are, get to cooking! To make the glaze, take your powdered sugar, as well as the milk/water mix that you have prepared. Add them together and stir well. The end result should be a soupy kind of substance. Using a cooking brush, cover the biscuits with glaze once they have cooled off from the oven. Enjoy!

Marijuana And Aggression

Category: Culture | Posted on Sun, November, 3rd 2013 by THCFinder
marijuana-helps-with-aggressionViolence and aggression are a large part of the society that we live in. As we're constantly surrounded by war and negative messages, it's difficult to keep calm and relaxed. A lot of people have trouble containing their anger, as they just don't have the time to beat up on punching bags or get any sort of physical exertion (One of the most healthy ways to deal with aggression). But if you don't have time to exercise, what other option is there other than medicine?
Marijuana is an incredible way to just chill. One hit of this magical herb and not only does your adrenaline level plunge, but it becomes hard to remember what you were angry about in the first place. While marijuana is actually a stimulant, it does have sedating effects on the users. Anyone who's had a bad day and comes home to a packed bowl knows that cannabis is a great way to just unwind at the end of a long, tiring day.
However, there is a negative side to this argument. Some believe that since some smokers experience extreme paranoia, anxiety, and fear, this could lead to aggressive outbursts. This tends to happen more in young smokers, who have other issues factoring in to their aggressive behavior. In these younger users, the cannabis can actually promote an aggressive response if there are other emotional low points in the person's life. However, it isn't just cannabis that causes the aggressive emotions. Those that are panicky before smoking will get even worse after smoking.
Smoking should be an enjoyable experience. If you experience anxiety and stress when you're high, you need to be trying a different strain. Look for indicas that will chill you out and make you be more concerned with how comfortable your couch is, rather than what's going on with schoolwork or friends. Also, younger smokers need to be careful when ingesting marijuana. While I do believe that everyone should be able to smoke, there needs to be more research done on the effects of marijuana on adolescents.
