Navy Veteran Convicted of Running Retail Marijuana Dispensary shop

Category: Dispensaries | Posted on Wed, November, 6th 2013 by THCFinder
navy-vet-convictedNavy veteran Jovan Jackson has been found guilty of running a “retail marijuana store” in San Diego.

Jurors announced three guilty verdicts Monday for sale of marijuana and two counts of possession for sale. Jackson and his attorney, Lance Rogers, told NBC 7 they plan to appeal the case.

In 2009, Jackson was accused of managing and profiting off Answerdam Alternative Care Dispensary in Kearny Mesa. The state’s medical marijuana law protects people from prosecution if they form non-profit collectives or cooperatives.

Prosecutor Chris Lindberg said Jackson broke the law.

“He grossed close to $160,000 in 75 days of operation, so by no means was it a non-profit. It went beyond that. He didn’t comply with the medical marijuana laws,” Lindberg said.

Outside the courtroom, Rogers said even after this five-year case, he and Jackson want to appeal the case to send a message.

“We are here to keep the fight going to show the local community and the United States as a whole do not support this failed war on drugs,” Rogers said.

However, Chris Lindberg said the guilty verdicts send a message of their own.

He responded, “If they follow the law, they’ll be fine. If they don’t and try to hide behind the law to make a lot of money, they may find themselves in Mr. Jackson’s shoes.”

Vanilla Kush - Indica

Vanilla Kush is an incredible new Indica-dominant strain and is one of the most fragrant, full-flavored and potent plants that Barneys Farm has ever offered. Vanilla Kush genetics come from Kashmir and Afghan. The intense aromas from large, dense colas %u2013heavily speckled with red and gold trichromes %u2013 bring to mind wild vanilla and lavender, accented with lemon and orange peel. Once lit, the floral and herbal aromas become more concentrated and the smoke offers sweet flavors. Outdoor harvest time is the end of September. The THC is strong of 22%. The long lasting high allows the mind to relax and eases muscle tension.

Stoners Smoking Gold

Category: Culture | Posted on Wed, November, 6th 2013 by THCFinder

There are fruity flavors all the way to just plain rice or hemp papers. Every stoner has a preference on what their favorite is. It’s all about the smoothness and the flavor. The kind of papers you use aren’t usually a huge topic of discussion. It’s mostly about how you roll instead. But with people always looking to look classy, one company targeted the not-so-health-conscious stoners.

Gold is a metal. Even so, it can be added in to food and drinks. Anybody familiar with Goldschlager? Well Shine Rolling Papers seems to have the idea that not only do lame club guys want to drink liquid with flakes of gold in it, stoners apparently want to roll gold joints. The company makes packs of rolling papers (12 sheets per pack) that are made out of gold leaf. For one pack of these flashy papers, the going price is $55. Most stoners pay that much for an eighth to a quarter of weed. Why would they want to spend that on papers?

The papers don’t exactly have the best attitude to avoid ridicule either, as their website states that “most people can’t afford it”, talking of course, about their product. Most people can probably afford it, no doubt. But most stoners are a little smarter with their money, opting to buy the cheaper, flavorful Juicy Jays or perhaps the natural roll of a Raw. There’s nothing wrong with saving money and there’s not a lot of people that will be impressed when you pull out a gold-leaf wrapped joint.

Looks aside, those who have smoked these papers don’t seem to thrilled with the taste. The gold leaf is harsh and who knows what that’s going to do to your lungs and throat while inhaling. It would be much more preferable to smoke something that’s flavored like cookies or cherries. There is a level of satisfaction that an individual feels after rolling a blunt. There are people who can’t roll at all (myself included), so managing to roll without the assistance of a roller is something that people pride themselves on. Why would you spend so much time and effort on rolling something that will ultimately taste like garbage?

If these papers make an appearance at a friend’s smoke session, give it a shot. Everyone has a different preference so who knows? You might end up developing a fondness for smoking a precious metal. However, it’s recommended that you stick to what you’re smoking now. Gold may look cool but a full wallet is cooler.

Cannabis Omelette

Category: Recipes | Posted on Tue, November, 5th 2013 by THCFinder
cannabis-omelette-recipeOn a Saturday morning, there's nothing better for breakfast than an good omelette... And of course a wake and bake. Conveniently, you can now put the two together in to one. This recipe will supply you with a medicated omelette, definitely a good thing to pair Saturday morning cartoons with!

What You'll Need;
3 tablespoons cannabis milk
3 eggs
Cheese (optional)
Other toppings (optional)
Bubble hash (not required)

Get a frying pan on the stove at medium heat. Beat the egg in a small bowl to break the yolks and mix them all together. Add the cannabis milk in to the bowl and continue to mix. If you decide to use the hash, add in as much of it in powdered form as you would like. Stir everything together in the bowl and the pour it in the the frying pan. When the omelette is flat like this, you can add in any of the topping that you were craving. This includes green peppers, cheese, sausage, ham, or anything else you've thought to put in there. Once you see that the omelette edges are turning solid, use a spatula to fold it in half. Let it cook on that side for about two minutes and then flip it over to the other side. When the egg turns a nice golden/yellow, you know you've cooked it enough.

If you're unfamiliar with omelets, they go extremely well with hash browns and toast! The perfect diner breakfast, easily made at home. Plus it'll be healthier than diner food AND it's medicated. You really can't go wrong with this recipe.
