Medicated Blueberry Biscuits

Want to keep your cabinets stocker with medicated treats for those days before work where you don't have time to smoke? This blueberry muffin recipe would go great with the vanilla coffee recipe that was recently posted on the site. Put these two together in the morning and you'll be sure to have a wonderfully elevated day.

What You'll Need;
2 - 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 - 1 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cannabutter
3 tablespoons of milk/water mix

The first step is to preheat the oven to 345 degrees. After you've done that, add the flour and sugar in to a bowl and mix them together well. Then, add your cannabis butter to the mix. Don't melt the butter prior to adding it. If the butter is rock hard, you can let it sit to soften up a bit but you have to keep it in a solid form. Now, beat the butter in to the flour and sugar mix until most of the chunks have disappeared. Then add your blueberries!

Next, add the milk. Mix the milk in well until the substance has turned in to a dough. Make sure that it's not too soupy. You can add more flour if necessary or more milk if it's too thick. But it should be more like dough, not like muffin mix. Lay out some flour on a flat surface and begin to knead the dough.

When the dough has been thoroughly kneaded, get a cookie sheet and grease it well. You don't want the dough to stick to the pan when you're trying to eat it. Take pieces off of the dough and mold them in to small round shapes, 1/2" thick and 2" wide. You must remember to watch them carefully while they cook, as they might end up getting too big. Cook them for 10-20 minutes but keep a close eye on them.

The biscuit muffins shouldn't be brown on the top. To see if they've finished cooking, lift one up with a knife and inspect the bottom. If the dough has a golden color, then they're done.

In order to make the awesome glaze for these treats, keep reading! If you prefer them just the way they are, get to cooking! To make the glaze, take your powdered sugar, as well as the milk/water mix that you have prepared. Add them together and stir well. The end result should be a soupy kind of substance. Using a cooking brush, cover the biscuits with glaze once they have cooled off from the oven. Enjoy!

Marijuana And Aggression

Category: Culture | Posted on Sun, November, 3rd 2013 by THCFinder
marijuana-helps-with-aggressionViolence and aggression are a large part of the society that we live in. As we're constantly surrounded by war and negative messages, it's difficult to keep calm and relaxed. A lot of people have trouble containing their anger, as they just don't have the time to beat up on punching bags or get any sort of physical exertion (One of the most healthy ways to deal with aggression). But if you don't have time to exercise, what other option is there other than medicine?

Marijuana is an incredible way to just chill. One hit of this magical herb and not only does your adrenaline level plunge, but it becomes hard to remember what you were angry about in the first place. While marijuana is actually a stimulant, it does have sedating effects on the users. Anyone who's had a bad day and comes home to a packed bowl knows that cannabis is a great way to just unwind at the end of a long, tiring day.

However, there is a negative side to this argument. Some believe that since some smokers experience extreme paranoia, anxiety, and fear, this could lead to aggressive outbursts. This tends to happen more in young smokers, who have other issues factoring in to their aggressive behavior. In these younger users, the cannabis can actually promote an aggressive response if there are other emotional low points in the person's life. However, it isn't just cannabis that causes the aggressive emotions. Those that are panicky before smoking will get even worse after smoking.

Smoking should be an enjoyable experience. If you experience anxiety and stress when you're high, you need to be trying a different strain. Look for indicas that will chill you out and make you be more concerned with how comfortable your couch is, rather than what's going on with schoolwork or friends. Also, younger smokers need to be careful when ingesting marijuana. While I do believe that everyone should be able to smoke, there needs to be more research done on the effects of marijuana on adolescents.

New Study: Cannabidiol Can Help Cigarette Smokers Quit

Category: Culture | Posted on Sun, November, 3rd 2013 by THCFinder
cannabis-helps-you-quit-smoking
A new placebo-controlled study published in last month’s issue of the journal Addictive Behaviors has found that cannabidiol – a cannabis compound – can significantly reduce the number of cigarettes consumed by those wishing to quit.

For the study, participants were given cannabidiol (CBD) through an inhaler – the CBD was derived entirely from the actual cannabis plant. Participants were separated into two groups, one which received the inhaler containing CBD, and one which contained a placebo.

Researchers found that those in the placebo group showed no difference in the amount that they smoked. However, those in the CBD group smoked, on average, 40% less after just a 1-week period.

“We found that CBD seems to reduce the salience of cues. It also can reduce anxiety and may affect a memory process called ‘reconsolidation,’ which is where when a memory of the reward of smoking is re-activated by seeing someone smoking, it is rendered vulnerable to destruction”, says Dr. Celia Morgan, co-author of the study. “CBD might mean these positive smoking memories are gradually erased,”
