State Finds Undisclosed Pesticides in Pot Growing Products

Category: News | Posted on Sat, July, 2nd 2016 by THCFinder

SEATTLE (AP) -- Washington state's Department of Agriculture says it has found traces of undisclosed pesticides in many of the marijuana-growing fertilizers and other products it tested recently.

Inspectors tested 39 products. Spokesman Hector Castro said Thursday that of the 27 tests for which it has results so far, 15 had residues of pesticides that weren't on the product's label. That means growers could be using certain pesticides without knowing it.

Some of the ingredients aren't allowed in Washington's legal marijuana system.

Portland Bike Tours for Cannabis Enthusiasts

Category: Tokers | Posted on Fri, July, 1st 2016 by THCFinder

Pedal Bike Tours has offered historical tours of the Portland and Honolulu areas via people-powered transportation since 2007. On October 1st, 2015, when early adult use/recreational marijuana sales began in Oregon, they launched a new project, Portland Pot Tours.

Sarah Gilbert, who has been with the company for almost two years, came up with the idea and said it was a “slam dunk with the staff…everyone loved it! And the response we received from the cannabis industry was excellent.”

Tour attendees visit two dispensaries, two glass shops, and make two snack stops. Gilbert adds that the tours are almost entirely filled by people visiting Portland from out of state and the first guest they had was from Japan!

NASA Will Pay You To Smoke Weed for 70 days

Category: News | Posted on Fri, July, 1st 2016 by THCFinder

Usually at some point in the day (and for some of us, multiple points) many of us find ourselves wishing we could abandon our responsibilities to return back to our beds to live out the rest of the day under a quiet refuge of blankets and smoke weed. Despite the guilt of chronic laziness, a day in bed sounds pretty darn relaxing—if only we could financially support ourselves by doing so.

Turns out, NASA might have the answer we’re all looking for—although it might require a little more “relaxation” than originally imagined. NASA is currently looking for volunteers to participate in their “Rest Studies”, in which participants will have to spend 70 straight days in bed and smoke different types of cannabis, receiving $18,000 for the period of aggressive bodily atrophy.

Participants are allowed to read books, Skype, play games, as well as smoke cannabis throughout the duration of the study. Pretty much anything is fair game, so long as you remain in bed, earning a cool $1,200 per week…

So what are the exact purposes of these studies?
