What is THC CBD and CBN

To be one with Cannabis Sativa means that you know her inside and out, you know how she makes you feel and just how she goes about doing it.

MJ is filled with wonderful little things inside of it that make it the wonderful super plant that it is. Without these special ingredients people from all over the world may not even know her name. THC, CBD, AND CBN are just three of these ingredients that  work together as brothers in this marijuana thing. They use teamwork to strategically get smokers and high and happy through a series of checks and balances. Depending on the percentages of these three things, determines how your high will be felt, how long, and how strong it will feel.

THC

THC is the main psychoactive active ingredient in Cannabis Sativa. THC or tetrahydrocannibinol is what gets you high, the higher amount of THC your bud has, the higher you'll be.  This snazzy little ingredient is all of our best friend, and without her there would be no rocketships to the moon.

CBD

Cannabidiol or CBD acts like a booster for the THC, it can increase it's effects but can also work to decrease them as well, all depending on the percentages in the ganja. A high THC content mixed with low CBD levels is a winning combination for a strong and potent high that'll have you loving your trip to the sky. CBD is a psychoactive ingredient meaning that it has a wide range of medicinal issues that it works great for, including schizophrenia, other persoanality disorders, and epilepsy. CBD is also said to increase your reaction time and alertness, without this little guy things in Mary's life would be a lot more boring.

CBN

Cannabinol aka CBN is what is produced when the THC begins to break down and become older. This is all part of the oxidation process, when this is happening the user often feels "sluggish" or stuck as the high is coming down. Couch lock isn't just another reason to be lazy, but actually  the active ingredients inside MJ doing their thing and pretty much making you glue your buns to the seat and eat all those donuts....it's science!

LaVon Brazill from the Indianapolis Colts was suspended by the NFL for Marijuana

Category: Celebrities | Posted on Fri, July, 5th 2013 by THCFinder
suspended-for-marijuanaLate last month, the NFL suspended Indianapolis Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, but they didn’t announce how he violated it.

The Indianapolis Star though says Brazill was suspended due to a failed marijuana test.

Per Bob Kravitz:

To me, LaVon Brazill is a somewhat different story, and if I was Grigson, I would take a harder line with the second-year wide receiver.Admittedly, what Lefeged did was far more dangerous than what Brazill did, which, sources tell me, was testing positive for smoking marijuana. Lefeged’s indiscretion involved drinking, drugs and guns. Brazill was only guilty of doing what millions of Americans do on a semi-regular basis.
As Kravitz later mentions in his piece, a four game ban for marijuana means you have to caught multiple times, so Brazill has been on the wrong end of the league’s substance abuse policy more than once.

The hand stance presented by Kravitz suggests that the Colts should simply cut Brazill, however, that’s unlikely to happen at this point. Though, he clearly has put a target upon himself if his performance in training camp isn’t up to par.

Oregon Senate OKs marijuana dispensary bill

Category: Dispensaries | Posted on Fri, July, 5th 2013 by THCFinder
oregon-oks-mmj-billSALEM — Seeking to make it easier for medical pot users to get their medicine and harder for the black market to get its hands on Oregon weed, the state Senate on Wednesday approved a bill that would legalize and license marijuana shops.

Under Oregon law, nearly 55,000 cardholders must grow the drug themselves or designate someone to grow it for them. Medical pot users say dispensaries are needed to give them a reliable place to get their medicine.

Medical marijuana dispensaries that exist now operate without oversight and run the risk of being shut down by law enforcement.

Some counties have taken a hands-off approach and allowed the establishments to remain open. But dispensaries in other counties have been raided by police and forced to close.

Another major concern of Oregon's medical pot program is that the weed supposedly intended for medical marijuana patients is getting sold on the black market.

Architects of the bill passed on Wednesday say it will give cardholders certainty that they can acquire their medicine, and that it is safe. They also hope the bill will keep excess pot from being siphoned off to the black market.

"This is a great way to impose a standard that will keep that from occurring," said Sen. Floyd Prozanksi, D-Eugene.

The bill, which passed 18-12, would establish a licensing system under the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program to regulate the medicinal pot retail industry. This would bring the estimated 200 lounges, collectives and cafes already in operation under the purview of state law.

Opponents say the bill doesn't go far enough to stop what they see as abuses to the state's medical marijuana program. And some lawmakers have argued that authorizing dispensaries is a slippery slope to legalizing marijuana for recreational use.
