Wiz Khalifa arrested for marijuana possession in Nashville Holiday Inn

If you've got it, flaunt it — but maybe not in front of cops.

Wiz Khalifa was hit with a citation for misdemeanor possession by Nashville police after the rapper (real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz) was caught lighting up in his Holiday Inn room Saturday.

According to The Tennessean, Khalifa, 24, and his pal Lonnie Howard, 27, were having a fun game of puff-puff-pass when fellow residents at the hotel complained about a strong marijuana odor coming from their room.

The paper reports that the front desk had already gone up to room 725 to tell the pair to cool it, but then called the police shortly afterward.

When the officers arrived, Khalifa reportedly flicked his blunt out the window and then proceeded to deny that he or Howard had any more marijuana on them.

The joint was later recovered outside the hotel room, and "inside the rolling paper was a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana," the police report says, according to TMZ.

The pair eventually fessed up to possessing more marijuana — Khalifa said he had 3.7 grams, to be exact — and both were slammed with the citation.

They will have to show up at Davidson County Courthouse by May 14 for booking on the charges, The Tennessean reports.

Khalifa was in town to perform as the headliner for Vanderbilt University's Rites of Spring concert, and left town Sunday.
