Bramblett made his recommendations to Hudspeth County's Judge Becky Dean-Walker, who accordignto the AP, “specifically demanded that Nelson appear in court instead of pleading by mail.”

Whoopi Goldberg Confesses To Smoking Cannabis Before Winning Oscar

Category: Celebrities | Posted on Thu, March, 24th 2011 by THCFinder
Whoopi Goldberg has confessed to smoking cannabis before she accepteed her Oscar in 1991 for 'Best Supporting Actress' for her performance in 'Ghost'.
The 55-year-old actress claims that she was high when she accepted the award from Denzel Washing for her role in the film in which she starred as Oda Mae Brown opposite the late Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.
The actress and host of 'The View', she said: "I learned a great lesson though. Never smoke pot before there's the possibility of having to talk to one hundred million people. Smoking cigarettes and pot every now and then are my habits and I thought, 'I've got to relax.'
"So I smoked this joint that was the last of my home grown and honey, when he said my name and I popped up, I was like, 'Oh f**k, oh f**k, up the stairs one two three four five, onto the podium. There's millions of people, OK grab the statue.' I knew I should have never had done it."
"So I panicked and got the Oscars tape to see whether you could tell and you just couldn't. I know you're not supposed to admit that you smoke pot but I don't drink alcohol!"

Lindland Sued Over Medical Marijuana Plants

Category: Celebrities | Posted on Wed, March, 9th 2011 by THCFinder
UFC and Strikeforce veteran Matt Lindland has been sued for the alleged theft of six medical marijuana plants, according to a report from an Oregon newspaper.
The Willamette Week wrote Monday that Gonzalo Aldana Gamboa filed a suit in Multnomah County Circuit Court on March 3 accusing Lindland of stealing the plants. The suit alleges that Gamboa was granted permission to grow the plants on Lindland’s property in Eagle Creek, Ore., last October under the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP). However, Gamboa claims that Lindland would not allow him to collect the marijuana when Gamboa returned in November.
The OMMP is a state registry program which processes applications for medical marijuana identification cards, as well as registering “grow sites.” According to the suit, Gamboa registered the growth and harvest of the six plants with the state in October. He is reportedly seeking $122,880, the estimated street value of the lost marijuana.
Lindland, 40, is a 2000 Sydney Olympics silver medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling and an 11-year veteran of MMA who has competed for such promotions as the UFC, theInternational Fight League and, most recently, Strikeforce.
“The Law” last entered the cage on Dec. 4, when he was knocked out in 50 seconds by fellow UFC vet Robbie Lawler. Lindland was slated to meet Mamed Khalidov at KSW 15 in Warsaw on March 19, but withdrew from the bout in late February after reportedly suffering a hand injury in training.
