NORML's Allen St. Pierre Calls for 4-20-2013 March in Washington DC
In the video below, the Executive Director of NORML – Allen St. Pierre – talks about the need for a large pro-marijuana march in Washington D.C. the next time April 20th rolls around.
The cannabis community – especially online – is a large and vocal community. Massive amounts of information is exchanged among cannabis activists and patients and recreational users every day. The word of a huge rally will spread like wildfire and there is a chance of seeing a massive crowd in Washington D.C.
Obviously not everyone can travel to Washington D.C. next April, but if the call is loud enough, there will easily be tens of thousands there, and that would heighten awareness for marijuana law reform to new heights, especially on a day when the eyes of the world are focused on cannabis.
If there is official word that the permits have been secured and that the march is going to happen, spread that news to everyone you know, repeatedly. Whoever is in The White House and in the halls of Congress next year needs to know that marijuana prohibition is a serious issue and that we mean to have our voices heard on the subject.
