UFC Quick Quote: Dana White will not honor prescriptions from 'Dr. Reefer'

"It is what it is. You go out and you smoke marijuana, it's illegal. I don't care if 'Dr. Reefer' gave you a prescription for it, you absolutely, positively cannot do it, according to the rules of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). I don't care how many lawyers you get or what happens, you cannot smoke marijuana. You cannot takes PEDs. There's a whole list of things that you cannot do, and if you get caught doing these things, you will be fined, and you will be put on suspension."
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White was interviewed on HDNet's "Inside MMA" to discuss his feelings on the recent suspension and fining of welterweight fighter Nick Diaz, after the former number one contender tested positive for marijuana metabolites. "Uncle Dana" didn't pull any punches, stating that Diaz essentially got what was coming to him, and that he agrees with the verdict handed down by the NSAC. Is White right on this one? Or is he just taking the opportunity to kick a man while he's down?

Many Presidents Have Smoked Marijuana, But You're Not Allowed

Category: Culture | Posted on Thu, May, 24th 2012 by THCFinder

The cannabis plant was once a very common thing in the United States and it was a massive, legal cash crop. Many of our early Presidents grew and/or smoked it, including Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, three of the heads on Mt. Rushmore, a national treasure of pride and rememberence.

Yet, as we all know, things went horribly wrong for cannabis in the 1930’s as it was renamed “marihuana” and demonized as an evil drug that makes you lose your mind. And for what? Because it will destroy your life? Tell that to Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, plus George W.Bush, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, who all admit to smoking in their younger days. There have even been many reports that John F. Kennedy smoke marijuana, even as President, to help relieve back pain. They all led pretty good lives, as do tens of millions of cannabis users every day.

The propaganda surrounding marijuana is man-made and things are beginning their long journey back to the way nature intended. Legalization is inevitable after the walls of propaganda finally fall. We must continue to chip away at the lies until nature is free once again.

The Years of Propaganda Behind Marijuana Prohibition

Category: Culture | Posted on Tue, May, 22nd 2012 by THCFinder

To make an entire society buy into a lie, much work is involved. Decades of indoctrination, brainwashing if you will, are needed to mold the collective consciousness of a people.

This is the way it was with marijuana for many years. In the 1930’s marijuana was something minorities did before perpetrating some heinous crime. In the 1960’s it was a symbol of the dirty hippies and burnouts who would never amount to anything. In the 1980’s we were told to say “no.”

But things have changed, mainly through a constant drumbeat of the truth. The advent of the internet has obviously accelerated this process. Information can be shared worldwide; the truth is a hard thing to hide.

The documentary below is a great example. It chronicles the history of marijuana propaganda and the immense waste of resources that are used to attempt to brainwash and beat down the populace. It sheds light on the truth, the truth that is exploding over all segments of society.

Marijuana legalization is inevitable because it’s a safer alternative to a wide range of medical and recreational substances. This cannot be denied, and the information can no longer be suppressed.
