Jack Herer Strain review with pics

Category: Nugs | Posted on Wed, February, 20th 2013 by THCFinder

Jack Herer is a prized sativa-dominant indica/sativa hybrid well known for both its cerebral high and its strong body high. The strain is a cross between Skunk #1, Haze, and Northern Lights #5. Jack Herer is the parent to many subset strains.

Strain Name: Jack Herer

Date Acquired: July 30, 2011

Grade: A+

Type: Sativa

Looks: Very dense, but soft yet sticky to the touch nugs; light green in color with orange/rust colored hairs and crystallized in trichs.

Smell: Sweet and spicy. Orange juice, lemon and pepper. Scent will linger in the room for a short bit (but in a pleasant way).

Taste: Very smooth smoke. Although not as noticeable as the smell, there is a sweet underlying tone with this strain with a lemon-peppery after taste. Somewhat like a fruit salad with spicy (taste, not heat) dressing. The inhale was more fruity with the exhale being "ginger" spicy. A very tasty strain!

Buzz Type: Gave me a solid sense of focus and awareness. Can be a bit "racy" during some sections of the buzz. Provided me with energetic full body tingle too.

Buzz Length: Above Average to Long (1.5 to 2 hours)

Summary:

* Finally! I've been craving a really solid Sativa for months! This batch of Jack Herer came calling to my rescue.

This is a "Feel Good" strain. Everything was enjoyable around me while medicating with Jack Herer. Sounds were nicely amplified; especially outside.

Jack Herer's scent is quite strong; especially when scissoring, but the sweetness and spiciness of the smell I do like. The lingering smell is pleasing to my nostrils vs. some of the stronger Indica OG's I medicate with. A "clean" smoking strain, Jack Herer left behind minimal resin build up in my glass bong.

I found myself flying all over the place during some sessions while really focused with deep intuitive thought on others. I got wrapped up into some "deep" conversations while medicating with Jack Herer.

Overall, just an awesome Sativa that was my perfect daytime medicine when I had various things to do and really needed to multi-task. Still be careful though... a few times while walking forward, it felt like as if someone was pulling me forward. I definitely enjoyed this strain.

R.I.P Jack Herer! You will never be forgotten and your legacy will live forever with this great strain.

Cheers (& Cough),

Black Label Kush strain review with pics

Category: Nugs | Posted on Tue, February, 19th 2013 by THCFinder

Black Label Kush - Indica

Strain NameBlack Label OG

Date Acquired:  September 3, 2011

Grade:  A+

Type:  Indica

Looks:  "Medium" sized, very dense, evergreen marijuana nuggets with complete frosty trich coverage with areas of dark (purple) leaf coverage and noticeable "rust/red hair."

Smell:  A crisp sharp scent of pine and menthol.

Taste:   A very "rich" evergreen (and slight hint of fruitiness) danky mouth feel with a thick/rich hash like after taste.

Buzz Type:  A very heavy/floaty and slightly euphoric high. Provided me with relaxation and pain relief.

Buzz Length:  Above Average to Very Long (1.5 hours to 2+ hours)

Summary:

*  A very nice Indica strain, this batch Black Label OG had some super FROSTY marijuana nuggets. The taste was "rich" as if taking a skillet hit of wax. Big sniffs cleared out my nostrils as the scent was very "sharp" when wafting the container up to my nose.

The first night I had a session with Black Label OG, I was couch locked. This strain gave me the feeling if eyes were "crossed." My head felt "light" at the start of this buzz. The feeling I experienced is like "floating on clouds." I know it's a long time "stoner cliche," but the wording does fit. The feeling of "lightness" progresses more into the "heavy;" especially around the eyes about half hour after ending a session. This strain provided lots of "body tingle and pressure." Again, this mostly confined around the eyes and very prevalent in nostril area.

Black Label OG was an excellent pain relief and chill out strain. This strain was very good at slowing my "racing mind" down. I big side effect was dry/sticky mouth. I did not so much get the munchies, but I got very thirsty with this strain. I had a big craving for sweet tea as I found myself in the McDonald's drive thru many times to quench my thirst with their dollar sweet tea.

Black Label OG is a nice strain to relax and "veg" out with and watch late night television while easing into a good sleep. Most of the time, I eased into a good nights sleep (70%) vs. being put in a state of couch lock (30%).
