Rude

I have read the reviews of this place and am amazed. First of all, on my visit, I was told there was a $25 membership fee. Must be they needed extra money that day as I have read that the rest of you were told only $12. I found the staff to be very rude and not at all helpful. I think it is a rip off to charge a "membership" fee when there are so many other places out there that do not. I say, stay out and stay away as this place will surely go down and I wouldn't want to be associated with them when they do.

She made two posts that were followups to bad reviews. When I was there the "bud tender" (whom was clueless) said that they would not go over $20/g and then in the review below "Nothing pricing out over $20 a gram." It is up to you to do with this review as you wish. I feel that if someone needs to hide instead of acknowledging the issue, c'mon. There is far too much competition. I will venture back there again at some point to see if they have made any improvements, but for now I will continue to drive past that exit and continue to Lansing, maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they dropped their prices. Give me the same thing and tell me you paid $40 for one and $60 for the other, the $40 will be better, OF COURSE :D Get off the DEALER prices!!!

Very nice staff and enviroment

Marshall's alternatives is a wonderful places to go if you are looking for meds. The staff -unlike other places- are very friendly and profesional. You don't feel rushed while checking out their menu which i liked a lot. I feel very safe and at home while I'm there. If you are looking for a new place to try out or you are looking for your first dispensary to check out, this is a wonderful place to start.

Very nice place

I decided to check this place out after friends told me about it, Its about 35 min from Ann Arbor. They have a $12 membership fee for the year its like a 1 a month for access to meds plus you get a free joint and a neat tube they put it in. There bud selection was really good many strains to choose from and prices are pretty much the same as every place in Ann Arbor. The customer service was excellent and very helpful. I will come back and recommend to others, and excellent edibles aswell

super schweet!

ive been to 3 places in the genesee county area since getting my license and then heard about marshall alternatives from a friend of a friend..lucky me!!! i was so impressed with the selection, prices, staff, the office is so nice! deff worth the drive and will be see you guys again soon!!! thanks so much!! the only negative thought i have is....i wish you guys were closer!!!

Livingston County Has it's First Locatio

My personal experience it this location was nothing short of great. They always have a nice selection of Quality meds with very friendly staff. Their price is about the same as anywhere else I have seen. Nothing pricing out over $20 a gram. As for my membership joint I thought it was great! It had a great flavor and smoked well between 4 people.
Every time I have been into this clinic I have been treated well, I will continue to stay within my own county and give my money here, as compared to going out of county and possibly spending a little less.

Livingston County needs better

The bud selection was great, there must have been 20 different strains, maybe more. The "bud tender" was a snotty younger woman, very rude and not helpful at all. Before you can see anything you have to pay a $12 "membership" fee. I thought the idea of the medical marihuana act was to make these meds available to us legally, now last time I checked when I went to CVS there was no membership fee. I got a free joint that three of us could no, or should I say would not finish. Looked good smelled good smoked like crap it was really bad. I have no idea what the membership entails as it was not described to me. I emailed them and was told that they are much different than the big city places, but yet they have the same prices. To me $20 per gram $60 per eighter is terrible. Yes we can get these meds legally now, but we have places like this trying to rip us off with less than average quality and astronomical prices.

I would say if you like to be wowed by the many strains they have then this is the place for you. They do have the best selection by far. I only had two different strains when I was there Tempest and AK47. The AK was not legit and the Tempest gave me a mild head buzz for 20 minutes or so. Stay home get delivery service or go somewhere else. This place needs to work on some customer service and drop their prices 17/50/100/185/350 that would be nice, at least competitive. This is a utter disappointment for Livingston County, I was hoping to have a local place, but I must still travel 40 miles to Lansing. It is well worth it, I get what I paid for.

This place is great!!

This place was great!! Best for distance if you live in Livingston county, nice and great customer service. I will be making this my new spot!
