so-so

I checked this place out today. Selection is easy (1 star, 2 star, 3 star potency) and pricing is average. Some of the 1 star looked pretty crappy and I didn't think some of the 3 stars were worth $23/g. The staff was friendly. The little bud room has bulletproof glass in front of it...not really a fan of that. I don't know if I'd come back.

Good Bud, Good Price in Comparison

The Apothecary has a nice selection of awesome bud; my favorites include wheel chair and grand daddy purple. The wheel chair, being top shelf, is a bit more price than I'd like, but it's quite worth it. They sell their Grand daddy Purp at the fair price of $9/gram and they offer a lot of nice sativas in the range of $11-15 per gram.

after hitting up some other

"popular" spots, big tvs and fancy waiting rooms are cool and all but at the end of the day i dont give a shit about anything besides med quality, and ive never been disappointed with anything from these guys. turnaround is real quick usually new stuff every couple days and most of the guys know their shit from strain to strain as far as lineage and effect

cant call it rape when its not forced on

yes 500 an oz and up is ridiculous, but this isnt the only dispensary charging these prices. This place is good in the way that its convenient, the guys working there are very kind, and the quality is definitely proper. More of a spot if you just want to try a gram or two of something different, which always weighs a little over a gram, but would never buy weight at those prices. If price is your biggest concern though hop on craigslist theres $250 oz all day. Tried the ibl sour d, not sure if its true ibl but was very tasty regardless

Good Meds, price raping tho.

I stopped in at A&N Apothecary last week and was happy with the meds I got. You first walk in and the strains are all listed on a board which you then must pick which you like and go to a glass window and ask the budtender for them. This is different then most places where they have the buds on display. Not a bad thing I guess just something different.

The 2 guys running the place seem friendly. The prices however are outrageous. I have been to most the dispensary's in michigan and without a doubt they are price raping. The top shelf meds go for $75 a eigth. They say you are saving $2.50 if you buy by the eigth. YEAH BUDDY! $2.50! Big Money!

I could even understand the price raping if they were the only club in town but they have competition just down the street with much cheaper prices. As for the atmosphere, well basically its a big waiting area with 3-4 chairs and a TV that looks like it cost $15. Needless to say it doesn't look like they put alot of money into the look of the place. Not a bad thing tho.

While the med's are top notch, the prices are NOT. I can't honestly recommended going here because of the prices. If you don't mind paying then without a doubt check this place out because the meds are good.
