The Green Flower Difference
Green Flower's mission is to provide our members affordable and effortless access to medicinal cannabis services, education, and products. We at Green Flower make a clear distinction between the medicine we provide and the majority of cannabis currently being grown
and distributed to California patients. Our members grow truly organically, and the quality will show in the medicine we carry. At no time in our cultivation or processing is our medicine ever exposed to inorganic chemicals, bud hardeners, harsh salts, solvents, or hormones. Others use these chemical products to artificially increase yield, weight, growth speed, and "bag appeal." Unlike others, we allow our plants to run their full course, as the critical CBD and CBN compounds in cannabis develop at the tail end of the flowering cycle.
Our Managing Member is a 5-star trained chef who had to retire from his rising culinary career due to a chronic inflammatory condition he now successfully controls with cannabis. Our Managing Member carries the same professionalism, leadership, and high standards for food
preparation, safety, and cleanliness to the cultivation, processing, and delivery of cannabis medicine. His background helps run what we hope is the most professional, friendly, and service-oriented collective in California.
We follow a nearly 100% organic, comprehensive nutrient regiment from seedlings, to mothers, to clones, and through to processing. Our plants are pampered with classical music, sterilized and CO2-enriched air, highly-filtered and oxygenated water, and our collective members wear gloves when handling plants from clones to curing to packaging. Since many of our patients need to cook with their cannabis, we endeavor to maintain the most sterile environment possible when processing our plants, with, for example, our trimmers required to wear hair nets and to wash their hands and change gloves after eating, using the restroom,
or any other cross contamination.

Founding Member's Message
"Hello and thank you for visiting Green Flower. At 12 years old I was diagnosed with a chronic wasting syndrome that is typically treated with harsh steroids, chemotherapy drugs, and crippling immunomodulators. I was subjected to all of these disruptive chemicals, multiple surgeries,
sometimes abusive treatment, and yearly hospitalizations and procedures for a decade and a half. I almost lost my life three times, including twice due to pharmaceutical drug interactions. I tried multiple strict diets, Eastern medicine, homeopathy, energy healing, and what seemed like the total gauntlet of alternative medicine with no luck. Growing up in a Deep South Red State, I was miseducated from childhood to see cannabis in the same category as crack, heroine, and other substances with no medical value.
It was only at 28, and after I was exposed to the research and history of cannabis as a medicine, that with my life again in jeopardy and doctors ready to try a potentially fatal surgery, did I consent to try medical cannabis. Three years later, I am still in disbelief that I haven't been to the hospital since. My nightmare life suddenly became somewhat normal and manageable. The effect on my family has been tremendous, all of whom have changed or are changing their rigid views on marijuana and medical cannabis. I am well on my way to recovery, and many of those same alternative therapies and diet techniques are now paying dividends in an integrative approach to healing I hope to be able to make affordable and accessible.
I started this collective because I moved out to California and was disillusioned with what I found here in terms of education, service, and respect to cannabis as a medicine (other than for legal reasons). While grateful to the "movement" and "scene" that has advanced cannabis as a medical option for me, literally saving my life, it still falls too short in addressing true patient needs, in providing high-quality medicine, and in general is not very patient friendly at all. Like my experience under mainstream medicine, I found an industry focused on profiting off of the sick people they are supposed to be serving. True solutions, like time release capsules, abundant organic medicine, organic/allergen-free edibles, or high-quality and affordable concentrate capsules, are missing. With the support of my wife and family, I decided to take my life's hard work, education, experience, and earnings and apply it to start a collective to address my own needs and the needs of others who are in the same or similar position as me.
