Excellent variety, fast delivery... I'm hooked

After getting my card, I was saddened to discover that not only is there no dispensary in Ventura County, but that Santa Barbara County had also recently had everything closed down. I don't need to be traveling to LA regularly for medication.

So I called a couple services I found here on THCFinder... and the guy on the phone at Sespe came across as the most comfortable. He was ready to set me up over the phone, but I took a few days to keep looking before sending in my application online. I was called back the next morning by the same guy, who remembered me from the phone call days earlier, and they had me approved and ready to place my first order.

Make sure you scan a copy of your driver's license and doctor's recommendation, and print/read/sign the agreement online, and the first delivery goes much faster.

You can order by phone or online. A full online menu is available on their website and... IT ACTUALLY CHANGES! They have a large selection (4-5 indicas and 4-5 sativas) that are always in stock, and they rotate other products in regularly... plus they have DOZENS of edibles. I was really surprised by the variety, and by the fact that new products are so frequently added. I've tried 4 strains, plus 2 edibles, and all have been really high quality.

Prices are comparable to anywhere else on most things ($60 will get you 1/8th of anything)... but their wide variety DOES include budget options, and the edibles are surprisingly potent for the price.

Delivery is free anywhere in Ventura County if you spend $50+. And delivery is fast... generally within 2 hours of the order if you're in Vta/Oxd, but same-day anywhere in the county if you order by 3pm or so. And they're open 6 days a week (Tuesday is their only day off), so it's readily available.

However, I also agree good reviews need downsides, and there are a couple to note:

- Due to their increased business, they've gone to pre-weighed bags for all... so don't read anon79's review and get too excited. The bags are all very fair (I've gotten 4-5 1/8ths, all have been between 3.61-3.72), and the weight written on the front is accurate in my measurements, but don't expect to see it weighed out for you or get "hooked up".

- anon79 WAS right about the bags though. They use quality bags for both their buds and their edibles... but it's still plastic bags. I also am willing to keep it this way if it keeps the prices where they are, but I always transfer to a glass jar once the delivery person leaves.

Aside from that though... I have been extremely satisfied with my experiences with Sespe, and use them exclusively to obtain my medication. Finding a collective I feel comfortable working with is as big a part of the process as anything, and Sespe appreciates that and works hard and making you feel comfortable throughout the experience.

I will look no further!

Living in Ventura county it can be frustrating when you zoom out on WeedMaps and catch a glimpse of the plethora of options that LA county has.

Then I stumbled upon these guys!

At first I wasn't sure - no reviews? Taking a gamble perhaps.

However they were quick to verify (Print out a PDF, sign, scan your doc rec/ID and send it their way. You can also mail it in. Maybe even fax?) and were very friendly, informative and responsive. I also like the fact that they maintain their own website and "Growers Blog" that offers a bit of transparency into their collective.

Once I was ready, they were quick to deliver (even came earlier than expected, after making sure it was ok to do so.)

The dude, "R", really hooked me up. The free eighth for new patients - that was a nice surprise.

I got an eighth mix of blueberry master & vanilla kush and an eighth of skywalker.

No pre-weighing here (though they come prepared if you want a quicker exchange) and his weigh ins were generous.

Last night I took the smallest nug of blueberry, which filled my bowl perfectly. Well..I'm sold! Clean taste, superior high. Very very nice bud.


As with any review, I try to find something to critique: Plastic bags for the meds vs plastic bottles were used. But hey, if that keeps the prices where they're at..It doesn't kill me to transfer it to a better container after my donation is given. Yeah, that's about all I can find to critique!
