Wow!
I must say I am quite impressed with this place (I've been to 10+ clubs). I went today for my first time and the girl working the desk was very very friendly (and cute). One thing that I found quite impressive and admirable was the fact that these people are very knowledgeable when it comes to the Michigan MMJ law and are politically active against government idiots who want to ruin a law that was overwhelmingly voted for by the People of the State of Michigan.
Anyway, the guy who took me back (he said he only works Sunday and Monday) was cool as heck and recommended a great strain (Mr. Nice Guy). All the meds looked good, but nothing that made me think "oh man I gotta try that!" Prices are more or less standard, $20/g, $60/8th, but the bag was heavy, unlike a lot of places. I hope they have some more budget strains in the future though. The edibles are pretty solid as well - much better than you will find at most places for $5 or $10 a piece. Oh, they are small (portable!) and taste amazing. Kept refrigerated for freshness!
I highly recommend stopping by at this place. Apparently it used to be a vegan cafe (yummmm) and they might start cooking again! They also had some non-medicated goods for sale (a lady was offering some sort of pastry...looked delicious but I am trying to shed some pounds!)
As for it being "scary"...it's a hippie house by 7 and Woodward. Not very frightening unless you are there at 3am.

Not a Safe Area
Don't go here I was afraid to leave my dog in the truck while I was there. Product is not bad for the high price and the brownie was great but I'll never go back. Too many shady people hanging around and it is located in a bad area of town. Also the little guy behind the counter seemed like he was too medicated to do the job and keep the riff raff out.

Favorite Spot
This place is lovely! Relaxing community feel, free tea, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have an excellent selection of organic, local, top quality medicine at fair prices. The edibles are potent and delicious. The building is shared with an awesome chiropractor and a talented massage therapist and is located conveniently next to a health food store and a holistic MD. One stop healing! Definitely the best, best bud, best atmosphere, and easy to find!
