GREEN CRACK

Simply awesome1 Went fishing on this stuff after medicating. Had a blast and was able to focus with permagrin. No worries as my trip was stress free. I'll be hooking up with topgrademedical.com more often.

Strain Name: Green Crack (THCF)

Sample Acquired: February 20, 2013

Medicated Date: February 22, 2013

Device Used: Mobius Reti Perc Bubbler

Grade: A-

Type: Sativa

Looks: I had a couple very small marijuana nuggets and one larger nice one; all very coated in flaky trichomes with protruding "orange hair."

Smell: An earthy funk with slight overtones of mango, pineapple and fermented fruit.

Taste: A bit tropical and fruit salad like, leaving a bit of a fruity after taste. Larger bowl fills produced a tastier hit.

Buzz Type: Energetic, Mental Clarity, Muscle Relaxation

Buzz Length: Average to Above Average (1 to 1.5 hours)

I've had several batches of Green Crack as this strain hit the scene "big" several years back, but its been awhile since I've medicated with it myself.

On first bowl in my bubbler, I was welcomed with some nice cerebral pressure on the temples with slight headiness (tingle). That "tingle" coupled with pressure provided me with some decent pain relief along with a strong sense of awareness I've had batches that were very heady, but the sample I received in this batch was very balanced although the intensity of the buzz did creep up on me. Before I knew it, my entire body was encapsulated in "tingle," but not so strong as if covered with "crawling ants." I personally like that super tingle feeling where as others find it a bit to much thus, this batch of Green Crack should satisfy most as ultimately, that balanced tingle provided me with some well needed muscle relaxation.

This sample of Green Crack provided me mental clarity, but was I not very focused. I found it a bit difficult to work on one project at a time. Working inside, I wanted to be outside. This is definitely a Sativa where I had the desire to be outdoors.

This batch of Green Crack was solid although I did wish it had a bit more legs. The main marijuana nugget was tight, but a bit flaky when breaking up (trichs were like flaky "crust.") I really had to load up a bowl to catch some good flavor, but big hits in my bubbler also produced a "spicy" hit to the back of the throat which was a bit harsh on a couple hits. I was left with a slight bit of dry mouth, but nothing intolerable where I had to grab for water (liquid), but I did crave a good beer and quenched my thirst with a Blue Moon.

Whether you love it or hate (the Green Crack name), Green Crack is a must try strain for Sativa fans.

Strain Name: Green Crack

Date Acquired: August 16, 2011

Grade: A/A+

Type: Sativa

Looks: Sticky, sticky, sticky popcorn sized marijuana nuggets just tangled up in a fur ball orange hair, crusted with trichs.

Smell: Ripe pineapple. Very fruity. Scent "opens up" more as marijuana nugget is scissored.

Taste: A very light hint of a fruit salad. A much more "flat" vs. "sweet" taste.

Buzz Type: High energy. I got a very strong head buzz coupled with lighter, relaxing full body buzz. Provided me with "sharper" mental focus.

Buzz Length: Above Average to Long (1.5 to 2 hours)

Summary:

* Green Crack... With many in my circles, patients either love it or hate it; that includes the actual naming too.

I've had a few versions of Green Crack in the past, but this batch has to be the "dankest" version of Green Crack I've had to date. If you find your "batch" of Green Crack you medicate with to be a bit to sweet, this is the "version" you need. Personally, I prefer a more "sweet" taste. This was more as if you dropped your fruit cup in dirt as a kid and ate it. This was a very sticky batch too. When scissored up, this strain was easily "attaching" itself to my fingers when packing bowls for my bong.

As typical with this strain, Green Crack provided me with a very heady and strong head buzz. In addition, I did feel some slight chest pressure. For me, the first 1/4th of the buzz made me very "jumpy" and I was all over the place followed by the remainder 3/4ths of the buzz having me be very focused. Basically, Green Crack "wakes me" up with a shot to get me going real fast and when I hit my groove. I focus and mellow out.

It's not the first quarter of the buzz, but the real solid sense of mental focus I got after it which was 75% of the duration. I was able to complete a variety of tasks quickly and error free. Where the first quarter "jolt" comes in handy is when I had a heavy Indica session the previous night and I find it hard to get my morning started. This version of Green Crack gave me an immediate jolt as if I downed some caffeine.

If not engaged in some activity, mental wandering takes over me with this strain. This means I get a bit "giggly and loopy." Sometimes, images would be a bit trippy such as looking at trees through my blinds out the window which appeared to look as if someone was jumping up and down and waving at me. It was just an optical illusion, but I definitely had a few "moments" of paranoia when medicating with Green Crack on a lazy day with nothing to do.

For me, I think the Green Crack strain itself is just all over the place. Then again; for some, that's the beauty of this strain. Overall for mental focus, this batch of Green Crack is a solid Sativa strain which is pretty hard to beat considering the lower than average donation price I paid.

I love Green Crack, the Smell, the taste, and the way the buds just sparkles. Truly one of my top favorites <3

Green Crack is one of my top 3 favorite strains because of the high energy it fills me with, I enjoy being active after I medicate not lazy or knocked out. GC really helps when I am golfing I feel no back pain at all while still having the energy for 18 holes!
