Summary:
* Review is "First Impression" as product provided was a sample and used exclusively for one day.
Its been some time since I used my custom made GOAT bubbler, but given I had a small sample of this Ferrari OG, I knew a little fill goes a long way if using this piece. Little is not an overstatement as if I loaded a full bowl of Ferrari OG in my bubbler, I was guaranteed to cough since the bubbler produced such a rich smoke. The taste in the bubbler was also rich. This strain produced a lot of "classic" OG flavor that would not disappoint OG fans.
When in jar, the marijuana nuggets had a scent, but not a strong lingering scent when jar was opened. This was unlike the exhaled bubbler smoke which left a funky stench in the immediate area which lingered for a few hours.
This timing of this sample could not have been more perfect as minutes earlier before medicating with this strain, I hurt my back doing kettle bell swings. Stopping my workout early, I immediately loaded up a small bowl of Ferrari OG when I got home and within minutes that specific back pain was "manageable." After another immediate bowl, I was medicated well enough to move around normally again. This strain was SOLID at pain relief and prior to having a few bowls, I was in some serious pain.
Where pain relief is immediately noticed, the buzz of this strain is somewhat of a creeper. Initially, I can feel the sensation of pressure and a frontal warming of the face, but about 10-15 minutes after bowl, I felt a nice tingle creep up. This was a pleasant surprise as I enjoy this euphoric feeling. Ferrari OG did not couch lock me; but again, I was in some serious pain when medicating with this sample. My eyes felt low and I did catch a bit of dry and itchy eyes which was the only downside, but still worthy of being in my medicine cabinet due to the pain relief provided.
I took my first hit at 7:30am and last at 11:00am using my GOAT bubbler and with this sample I got half dozen small bowls. If using regular bong, I probably would have got the equivalent of two nice packed bowls. Small bowls provided over a hour of relief thus, if using a regular bong I am confident the buzz would run at least 1.5 to 2 hours and may "hit" a bit harder and could potentially couch lock depending on tolerance.
Ferrari OG is solid Indica that I would not have to think twice about if available. If tolerance is high and seeking some serious daytime pain relief, this just might be the strain.
Cheers (& Cough),
