Black Betty

I picked up a 1/2 oz. of this strain at Eugreen In Eugene, Oregon. I have heard this is a clone-only strain. If you grew this from seed, or bought it somewhere other than the US, it is likely a different version of this strain.

Anyway, Black Betty has a pungent rotten fruit aroma, that is actually pleasant. I say rotten fruit, because it smells like a mix of earth and fruit.

The smoke is a little on the harsh side (makes me cough if I take a full-bowl bong rip), but the taste is top notch.

The stone is a light and energetic one, that is completely absent of anxiety or paronia.

I looked up the genetics, and it says that BB is AK47 x East Coast SD. However, at the dispensary, the say that their black betty is Super Silver Haze x OG Kush. Who knows.

This is one of the best daytime strains I have ever used. It does not stone you down, but provides enough buzz, to let you know it's working.

Looks were deceiving smaller buds but boy they pack a punch. What great pain relief. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and neurological disorders. Upon exhaling you feel a nice happy pull on your eyes and the pain relief was almost instant. I only gave the bud 4 stars for appearance because of the size. Sometimes good things come in small packages.
