This place is bad news they will rip any one off that has no clue not very friendly this place is a joke I will never go back in fact I will discourage anyone from ever going

One more thing, the list is endless.

Tim smokes cigarettes right outside the front door, so smoke is bound to hit you in the face if you come walking up. This is not because he hates you, it is because he is so out of shape that he cannot stand to lean up against the side of the building. The boy cannot stand for more than 5 minutes at a time, yet eats McDonalds everyday.
Ladies and gentlemen, I know him. I am trying for your sake to warn you that you are about to deal with an ill tempered and quite ignorant republican tool. He plays the stereotypical role of what the upper middle class used to be, yet he is broke and got that way by making incredibly terrible financial moves for the business. Kadie and Tim ran this business into the ground.

Ha. I know just the dude. I drive by there often during evening rush hour and there he his. Mr. Paul Maul doesn't help the image much. I know smokers have rights too. lol.
Anyway as for the decor, I found this place to be not much different than the first half dozen that I have had a chance to visit. OK buds, a hint of arrogance, and dirty couch feel.

The rating here is inflated. Suptim and blinddog are both accounts the owner made to give himself a better review. Do not believe those two reviews, trust me they are a bunch of smoking headed straight for you know where.

NOT recommended!

I visited once shortly after they opened, and my service dog "Jessie" and me had an okay experience. The way they use chips to try and pretend they aren't requiring payment seemed childish, but I played along. The grower seemed okay, but the medicines were crammed into a jar together, so it was difficult to tell them apart. The quality was decent, but the quantity seemed meager. I went back recently to give them another try, and this time the man who sits in the lobby on a couch once again gave me strange vibes. I assumed he was security and was checking me out to make sure I wasn't DEA or whatever. This time after I politely replied to his overly syrupy sweet greeting he decided to confront me about my service dog. I informed him that she alerted me to seizures for which I have medicine, but that I did NOT have to show him any 'papers' proving it. They were at home and the law is that they can only ask what function the service dog provides, and that I don't have to show my papers. I politely informed the security man about the law, but he got in my face and insisted he needed to see my papers before I could enter, despite the fact that violates the ADA and the previous time my Jessie had been very well behaved (as always). The security man informed me he was a part owner, and told me I had to leave immediately in a threatening voice. The young nerdy looking guy who I remembered from the previous visit came out of the back and said "GET OUT OF HERE!". I smiled and informed them that they would likely be getting sued for violating my rights under the ADA, and then I went home and filed a complaint with the ACLU. I expect to get a response back within 30 days, and then sue these nasty people for violating the ADA. I have been to almost every medical marijuana place in SE Portland, and this was by far the worst experience I've had. The first time I visited and saw inside, it was a dreary place- I just wanted to get my medicine and leave. In conclusion: this is NOT a good place to spend your time or money! Any of the other places in Portland are much better places to go. I grew medicine myself for over ten years, and donanted pounds of medicine to needy patients for FREE, so I'm disgusted by these greedy people who profit off the sacred herb without doing any work and without having any respect for the patients who make their business possible.

This place has turned into a nightmare

Forget everything you have read up until this point my friends. The green haus has changed. Everyone who used to be worth going to party with is gone. All that is left over is Tim. Tim is the 'owner' a man who does not keep his word, and looks for any angle to nickel and dime his customer base. This man is an aggressively foolish back stabber. There is literally no reason to visit the Green Haus anymore. It has been killed by stupidity.

Weird, and not in a Portland way.

This place seemed very strange to me, kinda reminded me of hanging out in an unfinished basement of a buddy when your 18. He is trying to convince you that its a cool place to chill but it is still just an unfinished basement. I went and checked out this place about a month after it first opened. The way the system works is strange and I can never imagine hanging out at this place. The bud bar seemed nice but marred by the childish art of the bored budtenders that is displayed on the wall behind. I did not end up getting any meds from this place because there policies seemed unclear, I'll I knew for sure is it was 15 bucks to get in the door if you wanted to hand out. My review is on the atmosphere and physical look of the place alone. (gave other categories a 5 to not ruin rankings) I would not recommend going here as a place to hang out. It needs some serious renovation before it could be comfortable, in my opinion.

our collective was out of meds until harvest and this place hooked us up. They actually care about what you need from your meds and they are extremely helpful. Not only that but their donations were really fair and is aimed at the average patient. High quality meds at extremely reasonable donation. And to top it off they have a spot to play pool and relax and medicate with your people. Will be only coming to this business from now on! Peace

Seriously GOOD medicine!!! close to home too.

I've been to almost every dispensary in the area... These guys are fairly new to the scene. It's more of a cafe/farmers market style of spot with a donation chip system. kinda like the other farmers market spot on 82nd which i've gone to for a long time. Except these new guys have MUCH better meds. I've been there only a few times now but the growers that i have come accross are fuckin amazing. I know what good herb is and a lot about the process it takes to make quality medicine... and let me just say these guys fuckin nailed it! Best of all it's the closest to my crib.

Home Away From Home

I must say, The Green Haus has hit the mark. I feel like I could be hangin out in my basement with buds watching a game. Trully, home away from home. The med quality is great... DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THEIR TEA!!! Holy Cow!!
