stoned, mumbling budtender

I didn't catch the name of the budtender, but I don't think I understood half of what he said. He made me think he resented any questions. And they were pertinent questions. He would be facing away and mumbling. Still, not a bad place. check it out yourself,

MCS is Best in the Valley

MCS can be a little expensive but for good reason. They are the best! Unlike most other dispensaries they actually do have MEDICAL grade product. Not just product that is passable. They are real good at what they do and if you are looking for the best it is hands down MCS. Great people, great location, excellent medicine.

not impressed

a lil expensive variety sucked and was told on my first visit I would get 10% off and a free edible didn't receive either

Sometimes it can be difficult to stock flower because we are a licensed Non-Profit and can only work with limited growers. And I'm so sorry if you didn't receive your first time discount. Our first visit discount is a free gram or $10 off your bill and I feel terrible that you didn't get it. Please feel free to come back and I will happily take care of you on that. MCS is 1st class

MCS discussed with me the different strains and which 1 would benefit me the most. I am very thankful to have a dispensary treat my needs instead of a common drug dealer that just wants to make a buck. I have no problem paying the taxes to a reputable Company like MCS if that is what it takes to keep the quality and compassion that I received. Thank you again for your help~

On another note. I was very limited on my funds and MCS GAVE me medicine. I said I wanted to repay them when I got a chance and they told me to worry more about getting better and treating my symptoms. Thanks again for the free quality meds.
P.S. I finally like Obama....:)

Very Sad

I used to like going here a lot, sure it was a little out of the way, more expensive than most other places in the area and the only place that didn't pay your sales tax for you but they were always friendly and knowledgeable so I didn't mind the few minor complaints I had. Now that I have seen how they responded to 57Chevy I would never go there again and will actively tell people to not give their business to these guys. It is obvious that they are truly the ones in the area wanting to line their pockets with money because a true medical outfit would not swear and attack a patient in need.

Comments:
If you only pull in $100 profit maybe someone with some actual business sense should come in and help you guys out. At the end of the day you guys are a business just like all of the other dispensaries in the area. The way that you respond to patients online leaves little doubt to how much you really "care" about peoples needs. I used to not mind paying a little bit extra because I felt the customer service was worth it, but now I can't find a reason to pay your exorbitant prices for the same meds that go for $10 a gram at other places in the area. Your "top" shelf meds are what Seattle would consider middle of the road and the day trip that's required to get out to your location all add up to another lost customer.
In Yakima Valley they are the best! The location, the personable staff, the medicine, and knowledge of the staff. All the best, and I myself have never seen the staff be disrespectful to anyone and I go there all the time. They are nothing short of respectful and polite to even the most crass people I have seen go through MCS. Thank you MCS for making me and everyone I have ever seen go in your dispensary feel welcome!

Our frustration with the lack of support is because we don't line our pockets, is also why we are so upset about bans being put in place in Yakima county and city. Attacking people who don't care enough to know what is going on, but expect us to deliver them product without fail, is perfectly fine in my books.... In fact we've received over twenty five positive reviews via phone calls, of the review that your referring to. What is very sad is the lack of support for the compassionate care that we provide. My bet is that you are a dispensary owner who is, like most of the rest, blasting us online because its the only place they will communicate with us. We provide an excellent service and do so at the amazing pay of LESS THAN 100 dollars a week for the past three years. The profits we pull go directly to those who cannot afford their medicine and to the legal battle against the county and city of Yakima.... Get your facts straight before sounding off online....

Setting the Bar for E WA

I am beyond sick and tired of "dispensaries" which sell recreational grade "MMJ". MCS is real medicine for real patients with real ailments. They have an outstanding selection of top-shelf and high-grade meds, helpful budtender, pleasant staff, and real medicine. The location is a nice drive is you have the time and gas, but the 4 stars will go to 5 if they can locate closer to town.

Expensive!

Waited over 2 months for them to get more than a couple items on their menu, AND to take advantage of my "New Patient" special. First of all this is a great place to visit IF your in the mood for a long drive. Using the North 40th Ave freeway entrance, it is a 22 mile drive...one way, or 44 miles to and from. A very nice drive, if you have the time to spare, and if your feeling "up" to it.
The do have a very nice lobby area, and it was very clean, and so was the main store.
HOWEVER.... the cost for my 3 grams came to $38 & some odd cents as I was charged tax AND another type of "membership fee", which they "hinted" on their paperwork that they "might" charge, but it was not stated as actual fact, and no mention of the sales tax to be added on.
As for their flowers, it was top quality strains, a little scraggly with more stems than usual. Although they were strains, but this can be found at other local dispensaries, and the flowers will have less stems, be fluffier AND without being charged the extra cost for membership fee and sales tax. Knowing about these fees before taking the long drive would have changed my mind from going since if I combine this with my gas expense, it was not really worth it, even with my "New Patient" special. Sorry Guys!

Chinook Pass Greenery

Recently took the trip up to MCS for the first time and I must say it is the nicer of the dispensaries in the Yakima area! love the staff the location is quite close to my home town of Naches and buds are top quality. prices are kinda spendy even when compared to local dispensaries but still manageable. Over all great place !!!

Worth the drive!

Very helpful staff and also help made the first couple times visiting a very enjoyable, professional experience. The meds are top notch as well!
